This strategic operation marks a major milestone in the group's regional expansion, strengthening its leadership in West African logistics markets, as well as consolidating its partnership with the DHL Group.
The CEO's Vision
This acquisition is directly aligned with the vision of its CEO and Founder, Mr. Aboubacar KONATE, whose ambition is to make GKS Logistics the leading logistics player in the Alliance of Sahel States (AES) and throughout the Sahel region.
Capacity Strengthening
By integrating DHL Global Forwarding Burkina Faso operations, GKS Logistics will strengthen:
its ability to offer complete solutions in air, sea, road freight, and transit;
its operational network in the main strategic corridors of the Sahel;
its proximity to public institutions, international partners, and private sector actors;
and service quality, through processes aligned with international standards.
Team Continuity
Teams in place in Burkina Faso, under the leadership of Mrs. Gisèle BAMBARA, will be fully supported to ensure a smooth transition and guarantee continuity of operations without interruption for all clients.
